Q: What Combines Do These New Headers Fit?
A: All major brand combines.
Q: Can I Use Guards And Sickle Sections From My FD1 On The FD2?
A: No. The cutting components are a completely new design. They are not compatible.
Q: I Have An Existing UCA, Upper Cross Auger (From An FD1) Will It Work On The FD2?
A: No, it will not. The way the Upper Cross Auger mounts to the header and the way it is driven is different. They are not compatible either way.
Q: I Already Own A Header Trailer. Will The FD2 Fit Onto My Header Trailer?
A: Well, that depends. The deeper 50” decks of the FD2 may require adjustment to support beam under the cutterbar. We have been working with many header trailer companies to ensure they have the new measurements. Contact your header trailer supplier to confirm.
Q: I Ordered My FD2 With ContourMax Wheels. Will The Header Fit Onto My Trailer Without Removing The ContourMax Setup?
A: This will depend on the header trailer. Contact your header trailer supplier to confirm.
Q: My Header Has The EasyMove Transport Option. How Fast Can I Pull It Down The Road?
A: The EasyMove Slow Speed Transport option is designed for combine road speeds. Max speed is 32 km/h (20 mph).
Q: Does This Header Fit Onto My John Deere X9 Combine?
A: Yes. We will be fitting X9’s in 2022.
Q: Can I Cut Off The Ground In Flex Mode?
A: With the new ContourMax contour wheels, you can operate at up to 18 in cut height in full flex mode.
Q: Can I Change From ClearCut Pointed Guards To The PlugFree Guards?
A: Yes, you can order through Parts Dept, or you can order your header with the guards of your choice factory installed.
Q: 30% More Speed Or Cutting Capacity – How Did You Achieve That?
A: With the new ClearCut cutting component design, longer sections and guards, as well as increased sickle speed, we are able to achieve up to 30% more cutting speed.
Q: Will This Header Fit Onto My IDEAL Combine?
A: Yes, we currently fit FD1’s and the FD2’s will be a perfect match.
